Our Academic Study Abroad Program (ASAP) is designed for students enrolled in international university degree programs. It allows you to augment your current studies with three, six, or nine months of academic and cultural opportunities at the University of California, Irvine. You can earn credits that may be transferable to your home universities.
ASAP is specifically designed for eligible international university-level students to enhance their educational experience by studying in ASAP for 1, 2, or 3 quarters. While in ASAP, you have the opportunity to enroll full-time alongside matriculated UCI students in credit-bearing UCI courses and UCI Continuing Education courses. While supplementing your home university degree, take advantage of this chance to become immersed in American university culture while living in Irvine—the safest city ranked by the FBI for over 15 years.
Additional approval and fees are required for enrolling in over 12 units; the maximum number of approved units per quarter is 16 units.
