Jenna MacGillivray appeared on Below Deck Sailing Yacht during its premiere season. Since then, she has continued working in the yachting industry.
Jenna MacGillivray joined the cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season one as the chief stew, and we're ready to talk about what she's been up to since the show. After making her way to the Parsifal III in Greece, she was introduced to her fellow crew members and was quite taken with one of them. She and BDSY chef Adam Glick were interested in each other, despite Adam's last failed "boatmance" with Malia White on Below Deck Med. While she may have hit it off with Adam, Jenna was also friendly with the rest of her crew.
Earlier on in the charter season, Jenna, who was close with first stew Paget Berry, began to butt heads with her second and third stews, Madison Stalker and Georgia Grobler. Jenna wasn't much of a coddler when it came to her stews and would often be quite hard on them if they weren't doing their jobs up to her standards. However, Georgia managed to make peace with Jenna, while Madison wasn't so forgiving. When it was time for the reunion, Madison was still upset about how Jenna treated her throughout the season.
After departing the yacht in Greece, Jenna left with Adam and the two traveled around the country together in a van. They'd broken up by the BDSY reunion. At the time, the two were still speaking, but their status has changed. During an appearance on Another Below Deck Podcast last year, the chief stew admitted that she and the chef are no longer on speaking terms. The former couple even went as far as to unfollow each other on Instagram. Jenna may still be searching for true love, but that doesn't stop her from working hard in the yachting industry. After taking a short break in British Columbia amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Jenna, who worked with seasoned Captain Glenn Shephard, headed down to Florida to get back to work.
According to her @jennathemac Instagram, Jenna did a few charters in Mexico, The Bahamas, and Florida. However, she did recently spend some time in Rhode Island, so she could have possibly done a charter there as well. Aside from Jenna's several charters this year, she also started a podcast called Wild Loner. She started her podcast in 2021 and has uploaded a total of 14 episodes so far. In her episodes, Jenna tells different stories from her life, love, and the pursuit of travel, with a comedic analysis of her personal experiences (via Wild Loner). While she doesn't have any guests on, Jenna usually spends her episodes talking with her best friend, Josh.
Since appearing on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, which gets great fan reactions from viewers, Jenna has continued to live her life as a sailing yachtie. Even though she had a difficult first season, there is a chance she will return for season three as the chief stew. If she comes back to the show, she may redeem herself. Hopefully, she won't get distracted by a chef while she's onboard.
