BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) — Grab your inner tubes, Treasure Valley.
The 2018 Boise River float season will begin on Friday.
Ada County said Thursday morning that all Barber Park services including the Boise River Raft and tube equipment as well as shuttle service will be fully operational.
Rentals will begin at noon.
"While we understand the community’s excitement to participate in this annual Treasure Valley tradition, as a reminder to all floaters, the Boise River is never free and clear of all potential hazards and is a float at your own risk endeavor," Ada County said.
Reminders: Children under the age of 14 are required to wear a life jacket and alcohol and glass containers are prohibited on the river.
