The science fiction film focuses on Meredith, an artificially intelligent companion who works with grieving widowers. Meredith receives her latest assignment as a companion to William. Her design helps her behave like William’s late wife. Meredith’s life changes when an underground organization targets her as part of their advocacy to stop artificial intelligence exploitation. The organization alters Meredith’s programming, and she soon finds herself remembering a past life she never knew she had.
